Is it ok to continue taking pregnacare plus omega 3 vitamin tablets after 12 weeks?

ive been taking these pregnacare vitamins for a while now whilst ttc. my doctor has said to stop taking these tablets at 12 weeks (im now 5 weeks 3 days) but the instruction leaflet inside the packet says its fine to take them right through pregnancy and on into breastfeeding.

who is right??!! what would/did you do?! thanks!
